Most traditional Islamic education textbooks are produced and distributed around the world in large quantities. As such, they are designed as a one-size-fits-all model of learning, which fails to cater for the diverse needs, abilities and backgrounds of students. This is one of the main reasons why most Islamic studies teachers find it difficult to inspire and motivate their students.

We believe that the Islamic education textbook industry is in need of a long overdue reform, and, as such, our Wisdom education personalised textbooks are pointing the way forward. The Consulting Process

We provide consulting services in the fields of Islamic education and Arabic language with regards to curriculum and programs documentation, textbooks and teaching resources, formative and summative assessments, professional development and teacher training as well as other range of relevant elements of learning and teaching.

Stage 1:
Consulting and Research

We start the process by consulting with you to develop a deep understanding of your needs, goals and aspirations and to assess the gap between your current situation and the desired outcomes that you want to achieve. We go through four stages of program assessment, program design/reform and improvement strategies, and we help measure growth and achievement. Throughout the process, we document the outcome of each stage for you to use in our program planning.

This stage focuses on the following questions:

What is the current situation?

What do you want to achieve?

What are the aspirations of your school community?

At this stage we collect some data to identify and clarify your needs; that is the gap between your current situation and your desired outcomes. We work in partnership with you to ensure that your expectations and success measures are met.

Stage 2:
Designing a solution

Using the needs identified, and the resources you have available, you may decide to complete the recommended improvements using you own resources.

However, if you decide to use our services for further assistance, we will discuss with you the resources available and collaborate to achieve the required changes/reforms and/or design a personalised program which clearly articulates the objectives and intended outcomes.

Stage 3:
Implementation

During this stage, we will be rolling out the bespoke program across the timeline agreed upon (e.g. 6-24 months). The program will be delivered in stages at your convenience. Periodical reviews and reflection would be vital to keep participants engaged and committed to the program.

Stage 4:
Celebrate Achievement and Final Outcome

As learning expectations are met and learner outcomes are realised, a high culture of performance would have been developed within the Islamic department which will certainly impact positively on and throughout the school learning environment. Furthermore, the experience as a whole will facilitate improvement and empower Islamic studies teachers with strategies that foster continuous professional learning.
