Al-Hikmah Islamic Studies Level 1 Part 1 is for children from five to seven years old. It introduces students to the fundamentals of Islam at a basic level. It particularly aims to inspire the student to love Islam and become eager to know more about Allah and the Prophet ﷺ. The book consists of 12 units covering diverse topics, such as the Oneness of Allah, Allah’s attribute ‘Al-Khaliq’ (Creator of all things), the mission of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ as the Messenger of Allah and the Quran as the final divine message. It also teaches the student about the five pillars of Islam, with a particular focus on Shahadah (testimony of faith) and Salah (daily prayer). All these aspects are taught at a basic and simple level with the aim of keeping the student engaged and raising his/her interest to ask questions and seek to learn more.
