In this unit, the student will learn how to speak about himself/herself and his/her sister/brother (using أَنا – هذا – هذِهِ), and how to ask and respond to simple questions (using ما – هَلْ أَنْت – نَعَم أَنا ). By the end of this unit, students will be able to introduce themselves and say their name in Arabic. Student will be able to ask someone about his or her name in Arabic and identify, read and write the letters: أ ب ت. They will also be able to say several Arabic words that include the letters أ ب ت and explain what they mean in English.
